Walter Rice was a Vietnam veteran and a rogue werewolf.
Appearance[]
In the beginning of the story Walter is an old man and cadaverous thin from living in the wilderness from not long after Vietnam to several years after the beginning of the twenty-first century. He had long grey tangled wildly from his solitary and wild lifestyle and clear blue eyes undimmed by age.
After he was changed by Mariposas' Guardian his youth returned to him. He once again had orange-red hair that had disappeared with age and no longer ached and bent with age. His wolf form is described as being gray on gray by Charles Cornick.
